Attending during the Summer or J-Term sessions can help you catch up or get ahead. Students should be aware there are additional costs and academic risks. Students are encouraged to speak to the Financial Aid Office before registering.
J-Term
- J-Term consists of one three-week session in January before the spring semester.
- Students who do not meet satisfactory academic progress requirements after fall, will not be reevaluated until the end of the spring semester.
- A separate aid application is required to apply for J-Term financial aid. The application is available in November of each year.
Summer Semester
- Summer consists of several multi-week mini-sessions. Students may take classes in one session or all of them.
- A separate aid application is required to apply for Summer financial aid. The application is available in April of each year.
